Pricing
One price. Unlimited units, booking engine included.
$189 a month runs your property: every screen, every user, as many units as you have, and your own booking page taking direct reservations. Run activities alongside the rooms and it is $36 more.
Accommodation or activities
The complete system for an operator running one kind of operation. What the second plan adds is activities.
- Reservation book, folio and the day's work
- Hosted direct booking page
- Housekeeping and cleaning forecast
- Canadian tax, all 13 provinces
- The full accounting ledger and reporting
$225 a month all in, CAD
The same complete system, with rooms and activities running against one guest database and one ledger.
- The whole PMS plan, and then activities
- Rooms and activities in one reservation
- One folio across both, one tax treatment
- Activity scheduling, capacity and staffing
- A lodge with cabins and a campground is one business here
Card processing through Cardinal Payments carries a 0.5% platform fee on top of Stripe's processing rate. It applies only to cards you run through us: your own terminal, cash, cheque and Interac e-transfer are not ours to charge for.
Starting out
Start your free trial.
Run it on your own property for 60 days, or your first 100 reservations, whichever comes first. Every screen is open, on your own rooms and rates.
We set it up with you, on a call, using your real rooms and rates. At the end you decide, and that is the point at which a price applies.

The Activities module, $36 a month
The same system holding a second kind of thing: sessions, capacity and equipment, on the guest database and the ledger the rooms already use.
- Sold inside the reservation, while you have the guest
- Activities, packages and add-ons are picked on the days of the stay as the booking is taken. Only the days with places left are shown, each says how many, and the days stop at check-out, so everything offered is something the guest can use.
- Charged to the room folio, on its own sub-folio
- An in-house guest's activity posts to the room folio on its own sub-folio, 10421-B beside the lodging on 10421-A, and settles at check-out on the room's guarantee: one payment, two kinds of revenue kept apart.
- Attendance, and what a no-show does to the money
- Every booking is marked arrived or no-show. One panel handles the money either way: retain the charge, waive it, or refund part of it. The booking's own colour says whether a deposit is in, whether it is due on arrival, or whether it is now overdue.
- Revenue from people who never book a room
- A canoe rented to a family from town books and pays on a folio of its own. That is money a rooms-only system has nowhere to put.
- The day's sessions arrive with the day's work
- Activities to prepare arrive in the same task list as arrivals, departures and rooms to turn over. Nobody keeps the afternoon in a second place.
Pricing details
What the monthly price covers
One number for the property, known in January and unchanged by a good July, whether a booking arrives at the desk, through a channel or through your own page.
Card processing is the one thing billed on top of the $189, and only on the cards you run through us. Some systems charge a small amount per reservation instead of a monthly fee, and below a certain volume that is cheaper. Where your volume falls is arithmetic:
Innovation
Six things we made better
Each line is something you can find in the demo. The right-hand column is the category, rather than any one company.
| Cardinal advantage | How it commonly works | |
|---|---|---|
| A price is a price | Type one nightly rate on the room type. That is the whole setup. Rate plans are marked optional and you can skip them. | A price commonly has to be built as a plan first, with rules, dates and a parent rate to derive from, before the room can sell. |
| One room priced differently | Open the type and price a single unit inside it. | The price belongs to the type, so one cabin worth more means a second type, with its own rates, photographs and channel mappings. |
| The yearly increase | One control. Percent or dollars, across all upcoming dates or a season you pick. It says which before you press Apply, and tells you when rates last changed. | Commonly plan by plan, or a bulk tool inside a revenue module sold on top of the system. |
| A stay nobody closed | A no-show cancels itself a day past departure, keeps the payment and reverses the charges in the ledger. A guest never checked out is checked out at 24 hours, balance untouched. | It stays open in the book until somebody finds it, and what it was doing to the numbers is found at the same time. |
| A guest who turns up late | One question: waive the nights that passed, or keep the charge. It moves the arrival and credits the nights itself. | Commonly a cancellation and a rebooking, then a manual adjustment somebody has to remember. |
| Every confirmation is a sentence you can read out loud | “Raise every room rate by +3% on all upcoming dates?” Fifty-four places ask before they act, through one panel. | Commonly a confirmation naming the operation, which tells you the one thing you already knew. |
